Kolkata the haven for various kinds of cuisines
The city of Kolkata has been one of the most experienced cities in the country for tasting and trying out various kinds of cuisines. The city has been largely influenced by various cultures and their cuisines dating back to several hundred years. The influence of Mughlai food has is also seen here and there are small roll shops that provide economical food to office goers. The variety of food available in Kolkata is endless and one can get a meal for as little as Rs 10 on the roadside restaurants or go for a lavish meal at the luxury hotels. But despite the food range and prices here, the quality of food has been retained.
